On behalf of all the Nepali-speaking Texas resident, We, (Nepalese Society, Texas) would like to draw your attention to the problem faced by Nepali Language speaker during driving license test. The unavailability of Nepali translation of “Texas Rules of the Road” and absence of Driving License Test in Nepali language has caused problem of Nepali-speaking persons to obtain driving license. About 100,000 Nepali speaking persons are living in the state of Texas. Therefore, We, on behalf of all the Nepali speaking community, would like to request you to take immediate initiative and necessary action to provide the Texas State License Test in Nepali Language. With the implementation of this provision, many Nepali speaking people can obtain TX state Driving license and can improve their lifestyle by exploring and grabbing various job opportunities. NST would like to collaborate with the office of the Texas Secretary of State in any activities to complete this mission like Nepali translation of Texas Rules of the Road and test questions preparation.
