NO TO WAR, CONSCİENTİOUS OBJECTİON NOW! -- As the Kurdish and Turkish conscientious objectors living in Europe, we have presented our petition against the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish state at the meeting of the European Bureau for Conscientious Objection (EBCO). Our campaign has gained an international dimension with the participation of War Resisters’ International (WRI) and Connection e.V and will continue till 15 May, International Conscientious Day.-- Peoples don't pick a war. Councils of war are always interwoven political government and capital.When these governments win the benefits which they aim with war, the only losers of war are peoples. Middle East, became a battlefield and peoples graveyard because of the racist/military politics which the goverments built on the differences of ethnic and belief. Turkey always took place at the center of these politics. State of Turkey, with the beginning of the state of emergency at 20th July 2016, have raised the force and suppression politics which she has already maintained since 20th July 2015, which the time of peace process is cap off and has acted to destroy all public opposition. New wars are brought with national deliriums to peoples who are disarmed because of these politics. One of the last wars of Turkey continues upon occupation of Rojava. At one side, the states stands with racist/military politics and at the other side peoples stands all together for their freedom ideals regardless their beliefs, languages, cultures. European countries also took sides with Turkey Republic again like always instead of peoples who demand freedom. On the one hand, European express criticism to Turkey about authoritativeness/aggression, on the other hand they sign joint political texts and keep going to sell weapons. As conscientious objectors who came from Turkey and Kurdistan and live Europe, we calls everyone who are military obligator to refuse joining the war by showing conscientious objection and we calls everyone who are existingly soldier to take away weapons against to war. Also we call every conscientious objectors and antiwar people to take more active stance agains to war politics and weapon sales in their country. We, the undersigned, support this call aimed at "to finish human material of war" and invite everyone whom this text reached to popularize this call and to gather for efficient remonstrations against to war.
