1. Pope (Bishop of Rome) – The supreme head of the Catholic Church, residing in Vatican City.
2. Major Archbishop – The head of the Syro-Malabar Church, overseeing all eparchies (dioceses). Based in Ernakulam-Angamaly.
3. Synod of Bishops – A governing body consisting of Syro-Malabar bishops who make key decisions regarding the Church.
4. Metropolitan Archbishop – Heads a province (a cluster of dioceses) and oversees suffragan bishops.
5. Eparchial (Diocesan) Bishop – The head of a diocese, responsible for pastoral care, governance, and administration.
6. Auxiliary Bishop – Assists the diocesan bishop in governing the diocese.
7. Vicar General – A senior priest appointed by the bishop to assist in diocesan administration.
8. Forane (Vicariate) Vicar – Heads a forane (a subdivision of a diocese comprising several parishes).
9. Parish Priest (Vicar) – Leads a parish and administers sacraments.
