Dear friends, I hope that this message finds each of you well as the summer has almost come to a close. I write you this evening with important information for you to share with your networks and across your communities. Tomorrow at Syracuse University on the steps of Hendricks Chapel students, faculty, staff, survivors, supporters, allies, and friends will gather to rally for consent. This event comes after the decision made by Chancellor Syverud to close the Advocacy Center at SU. The very same feeling that stirred inside of me and drove me to begin this petition some three months ago is the very same passion that has brought about the community demanding to see change in Syracuse. The message is clear: Syracuse University continues to NOT ask for consent and does NOT respect the voices of students. We must rally together to show our administration that we refuse to be silenced. Join our movement. Join us as we rally for consent tomorrow, 9/17 @ 12pm at Hendricks Chapel steps!
