Petition update

We did it folks!

Oct 1, 2020 — Dear Petition Signers,

After garnering over 500+ signatures and bringing it to the attention of Dean Jessica Waters, she had also agreed with us that we needed to provide space for students and faculty to fully participate in Election Day and other forms of civic engagement. An announcement from the University will be made, dealing with how they will support that. Most likely they'll allowed for excused absences on Election Day or something similar, but be on the lookout for that announcement.

I'm genuinely so proud of you all. THIS is what happens when we have collective voice. Let's continue to make AU a home for all of us.

Many thanks,

Kayla Kelly
