Since the change to Sydney Trains timetables, Auburn station no longer has a direct, limited stops, train to the city. 

This has added considerable daily travel time to anyone who travels to and from the city for work.

Changing at Strathfield or Burwood to try and get a faster run into the city from there is impossible because the trains from Auburn are invariably late, and the connection is more often than not, missed. 

Auburn is an extremely busy station and needs a direct limited stops train to the city.
