The Ridge Climbing wall has been an important part of Swindon life for the past 30 years. It has helped to shape hundreds of children & teenagers into responsible, mature citizens and has fostered a camaraderie amongst adults that is second to none.

Climbing teaches resilience, perseverance, teamwork and endurance, where attention to safety & well-being is paramount. It gets people active, with everyone able to achieve no matter what age, sex or ability. It brings people together; at the Ridge Climbing wall you see different generations working together to conquer the challenging climbs that are set; old tutoring young and visa versa.

The staff are exceptional and highly qualified, with their passion for this majestic sport shining through. They go above and beyond their role to impart knowledge and skills to those who visit, inspiring the next generation.

If all in Swindon took up climbing it would be a much BETTER community. Swindon is only BETTER with the Ridge Wall in it.
