No mainstream media coverage of public concerns -- again

Would anyone realise that a 1500+ petition against this newbuild exists when the local media do not even give it a passing mention in today's Adver, as this link shows, and in so many other articles? So today we get a couple of new images of the planned SMAG in this news report, which still manage to make it appear as if many of the surrounding buildings do not even exist, and everything is portrayed as being wonderful in this article. Doubleplusgood! Seriously, though, it is worrying that the local media is uniformly pushing this bid and rarely, if at all, acknowledging any public concerns. With the submission of the HLF bid very imminent, it is important that they are made aware of such reporting, and why this petition has been forced to rely on social media so much.
