We had another ( our 4th ) meeting earlier this week A very encouraging meeting with unanimous agreement on the legal structures we will set up -a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee . We are also working hard on our submission to the councils consultation exercise on car parking charges at Lydiard and other country parks Full due diligence information requests will be submitted to the council soon One developing issue of concern relates to the the structural integrity of parts of Lydiard House ( particularly the South Tower) . There is clear evidence ( buckled window frames , cracks and falling masonry ) that there is a major problem We have requested the council commission an independent and fully costed structural engineers report that is made available to all bidders I will keep you updated Mike
