DON'T BUILD ON AMBROSE FIELD

We the undersigned oppose the granting of planning approval for 62 houses on the Ambrose Field site off Croft Road on the grounds of:

• Building on land not assigned for housing in the Swindon Local Plan. 
• Increased run-off into the River Ray raising flood risk in East Wichel. 
• Pressure on sewerage system.
• Dangerous vehicle access point and increased volume of traffic on Croft Road.
• Shrinkage of the River Ray green corridor, and loss of green space that prevents coalescence between settlements.
