Lawsuit allowed to move forward to block the closure of SBC

Today, a judge ruled that Amherst County Attorney Ellen Bowyer can move forward with the lawsuit and make her case alleging that charitable funds have been misused by Sweet Briar College. This is a key element of her lawsuit to block the closure of our beloved college. This is a huge step forward for us! Arguments in Bowyer's lawsuit will be heard by Judge Updike tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9:00am in Bedford County Circuit Court.
