With the rising tolls of deaths along this stretch of road (Heathcote Road), it is about time there are barriers / mid strips put along this road to split these lanes efficiently. 

The cost of this change is none to what the lives that have been lost are worth. 

How many more people have to have accidents that result in severe injury or in a higher percentage rate, death, for something to change? 

If this is to be changed, it will dramatically cut the head on collision rate down and will save a number of lives in the process. Even if it is one life saved, is that not worth it?
