Thank you for showing your support as we hold Israel accountable for their complicity in genocide and apartheid toward the Palestinian people.
Sport is political, especially at an international level. It is a privilege to represent one's own country by name and flag. Historically, nations have been suspended from competing due to their crimes against humanity. Some recent examples include South Africa in response to their apartheid system and Russia for their invasion of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Israel is allowed to compete internationally under the Olympics, FIFA, UEFA, FAI, and WFDF as the IDF continues to attack and displace the civilian population on the daily in Gaza, West Bank, and southern Lebanon amidst a supposed ceasefire. Since 2023, 1,007 Palestinian athletes have been killed, including two Palestinian ultimate frisbee coaches. Remaining athletes continue to experience unexplainable suffering under Israeli occupation.

As an ultimate frisbee player and human rights advocate, I continue to dedicate my time towards organising and mobilising behind the scenes. This email is to let you know that I have since put this petition on hold as I regroup with other coalitions abroad, including those in Dublin & Limerick, Ireland. However, this is not the end - more updates to come when it is safe to do so.
