This mission is getting closer to an year, many are communicating , death is still lurking in the shadows and the hope that is being instilled seems to be by the souls who are struggling amoungst ourselves. I am asking for support in prayer for my family , I have not asked for much of anything from leadership , aside from accountability and justice for all. I have tried seeking rehabilitation for several throughout the year with only albq county and the va taking in those I escort to detox, i think they are getting frustrated with me , for they ask if the north doesn't have a place, and as well have to coach them to say they are living in the streets of albq to be accepted. I was told by county health admin person that I didn't have to go this far for the Hosp in Espanola detoxes addicts. I really believed her, and took 3 , and all were rejected , I lost one of the three, and only one still believes in me , the other walks away. Another I took to a meeting and there the director tells him in front of many , by tonite you will be in the rehab, so I take him to hosp for intake and he is told to come back in 2 weeks for a physical in same place , I lost him too, was so discouraged as was I. Another I take and gets phone interview whom is already detoxed FM albq and was told he had to be dirty of drugs to be admitted and be put on a 2 mth waiting list. I truly believe they need to reassess protocol n procedure . These people need to realize I'm on their team, trying to get them more funding making sure the funding is equally dispersed amoung all treatment facilities n non profits making sure all funding is going into treatment education and prevention. So, please pray for.me to have the strenth and fortitude to keep going forth. I can't even get faith groups , and there are many to sit and break bread or just share a pancake breakfast. Mum is the word for the plan or plans of addressing our ills of our area. Still no one showing numbers and where funding is going toward education prevention and rehabilitation with the local news paper, or in the event funds come in , where that funding will go. I just want to express my gratitude for the support, and as well be reassured that I am praying for every soul that has signed , every one! For many that have signed are as well struggling . The dark cloud of dispair will move , for many in not only this area but the world will not give in to negativism or egocentrism amoung those who allow this "thing" to reign.
