As a result of the Covid-19 outbreak establishments throughout Armenia have been forced to close down. Now, with no visitors and no income, the Ashtaraki Dzor Restaurant have finally offered to surrender the three bears into our care. No longer able to be exploited as entertainment for tourists the bears now serve no purpose to the owners.

We need to act fast to rescue the Ashtaraki bears. If we don’t take action NOW, the bears risk being left abandoned and starving by their 'owners' or sold into the illegal wildlife trade.
