I would like to update that I have successfully delivered the petition to the office of the Governor together with the list of the affected students. We have had a series of fruitful engagements with the office of the Governor specifically the CEC for Education.
As such, most of the primary school children have been admitted back to school and are continuing with their education. The Office of the Governor through the CEC education has also committed to awarding the secondary and the college student bursary to get them back to school as well.
We are currently working closely with the CEC Education Kilifi County and the schools of the affected children to establish the exact amount owed to school so that bursary can be officially allocated.
