Thanks for attending! Next public meetings ...

We would like to thank those that attended the Immigration Working Group's public meeting on Wednesday. It was much better attended than previous ones. It was also a good way for people to communicate their views and concerns with the working group. Further public discussions on mixed-status families will be held from 6pm to 8pm on October 11 (at Francis Patton Primary School), 12 (at Berkeley Institute) and 13 (at Dalton E. Tucker Middle School). Please make an effort to attend. In the meantime, do not forget to fill in our survey (see link below) if you have not done so already. Also note that we have had a few people contact the administrators asking if we were calling members to get information from them in regards to where they fit in the current immigration laws. Please note that we have not called anyone as we do not have member’s telephone numbers. The petition and Facebook have been our only means of contact. We will be sure to let you know if this changes in future.
