The members of the Faculty Association of Yuba Community College District (FAYCCD) will gather for a community informational rally at the Costco Shopping Center on September 12, 2024, where they will advocate for fair working conditions, fair wages, and better benefits. The rally, organized by FAYCCD, is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm outside the Starbucks at 2021 Bronze Star Dr., Woodland, CA. After passing out informational fliers and talking with members of the community, FAYCCD and supporters will march to Woodland Community College, where the YCCD Board of Trustees meeting will begin at 5:00 pm in Community Room 800.

Participants in the rally include FAYCCD employees, FAYCCD representatives, students, community supporters, and local officials. Attendees are encouraged to wear black and red shirts in a sign of solidarity and bring signs to show their support. The rally will feature speeches from FAYCCD leadership, faculty, students, and community advocates, highlighting the importance of fair labor practices and the impact of YCCD's decisions on its teachers and students.
