Request for Affiliation Information

Hello all, Thank you for signing and for your support of our undergraduate students! We are exited to see signatures from people across the United States and even the world. We did not anticipate the viral nature of Change.org as a platform, and so we ask that people with UVA affiliations provide that information as we prepare to begin mass, University-wide dissemination. If you have not already done so, we would appreciate it if UVA faculty, graduate students, and staff included their departmental affiliation and position, and if alumni included their class year. You can provide this information in the comments box at the bottom of the petition. This will help make internal support within UVA clear while also allowing the viral nature of the platform to work its magic by reaching out beyond the University. However, we also understand that everyone has different levels of vulnerability. Only provide this information if you are comfortable with the administration and public seeing it. Thank you again!
