Hello Supporters,

Apologies for the late notice, but I wanted to make sure you knew about an important meeting happening tonight at 6 PM, hosted by the Emerald Necklace Conservancy (ENC), regarding their proposed alternative plans for White Stadium.

While these plans may seem like a reasonable compromise on the surface, they are actually a delay tactic that threatens the entire project. White Stadium is already on a tight timeline, and any further delays could put the project—and its critical benefits to our community—at risk. The ENC’s alternative proposal is in its very early stages, requiring many more meetings and budget revisions, with no clear path forward. The result? We could end up with an stadium that ends up being way more expensive than we thought, puts maintenace back onto city shoulders, fails to create lasting funding for the park and and misses the chance to create meaningful economic impact for our neighborhood and beyond.

This is the same bureaucratic cycle that has delayed the stadium’s construction for 50 years. Let’s not allow it to happen again.

If you have time, I strongly encourage you to attend tonight’s meeting and show your support for the existing stadium plan. This is an opportunity to advocate for real progress and counter the misinformation that continued delays will lead to a better outcome.
