A Concerned Food Truck OwnerFL, United States
Jul 10, 2025

It has become apparent that the Board of County Commissioners is doing everything in their power to drive food trucks out of unincorporated Monroe County. New information suggests that in order for food trucks to remain on their property for over 6 months, they will have to be compliant with the Land Development Code as if they were building a new building. This is not just a simple pile of forms to fill out. This is an EXTENSIVE process that will likely bankrupt most small food trucks with permitting fees and other associated fees well into $20,000. This is an all out assault on food trucks and either we pay the mafia to do business in their city or we shut down. Please join us at the Marathon meeting on July 16th to voice concerns and help us fight to stay open!
