Stakeholder meeting February 12th, 6PM at the Joslyn Center!

Great news-- With the Redlands City Council, Cultural Arts Commission, and the Parks and Rec Commission's support we were able to apply for and receive an Arts in California Parks grant to work on planning the project! Please join us for our kickoff stakeholders meeting at 6pm on February 12th at the Joslyn Senior Center in Redlands.

Our goals during the planning phase are to:

 The goals for our planning grant include:

·      Establishing partnerships and roles for implementation, creating Memorandums of Understanding with the city, university and other interested parties

·      Four arts engagement events/activities to create awareness of the program proposal and to garner feedback on design (Earth Day, Bike classic, Exhibition and reception at Artlands, Mural at Viva La Boba)

·      Creating an equitable call for artists for both the planning and implementation phases of the program

·      Developing parameters for Artist In Residence program with input from artists and community  

·      Site assessment—planting and irrigation plans; signage designs, orientation materials, including budget 

·      Marketing and Outreach—webpage, press release, social media, flyers with branding and info

·      Meetings with stakeholders to share updates and work on plan development
