On 5/24/18 the BART authority in Oakland voted NO on a BART extension to Isabel/84 in Livermore and NO on adding commuter buses to ease the traffic issue. By default, and also confirmed by a vote of the BART board, the funds for this project, in excess of $400 million dollars as well as land owned by BART from Pleasanton to Greenville in Livermore, will be given to the San Joaquin Rail Authority for work on this project. This is a HUGE victory for this cause. More updates as they become available.
