Thanks to everyone for signing this petition. We wanted to let you know that the Naming Subcommittee met this week, and voted to recommend the naming of the PAC after Dr. Perry. See The Sentinel article here: (click here for article)

The Naming Committee will soon be bringing their recommendation to the full school committee for a final vote later this month.

Therefore, we still have one more big step to complete (a “yes” SC vote at the next SC meeting August 21st) to make the naming of the PAC after Dr. Perry a reality:

Here is what we need everyone to do:

1. Keep signing the petition and adding anecdotes to the comments of the petition. Keep spreading the petition to everyone you know!
2. Send an email (letter) to this email address in support of the naming of the PAC after Dr. Perry. This email copies every member SBRHS Regional School Committee: sbrhs.school.committee@sbregional.org
3. Attend the full SBRHS Regional School Committee meeting where the Naming Subcommittee presents their recommendation to name the PAC after Dr. Perry. The full committee makes the final determination for the naming. This meeting is at the SBRHS library on MONDAY August 21st at 5:45pm. Public input is first I believe, so show up on time if you plan to speak.

Once August 21st is complete, we hopefully will have succeeded and can stop sending emails, letters, and this petition will be able to be closed (and the PAC will officially be named after Dr. Perry!)
