Dear Supporters of the Medical Blacklisting Prevention Act:

Meet Sumbul. She's 26. For nearly a year, she went to doctor after doctor with debilitating itching, night sweats, lost appetite, constant infections, and fatigue. Five doctors dismissed her. One told her to moisturize. Another said "it's just one of those things." Not one did a lump check. Not one mentioned cancer.

Sumbul had to diagnose herself. By the time she got her official diagnosis — Stage 2-3 Hodgkin lymphoma — the cancer had been spreading for 11 months while the medical system looked the other way.

Sound familiar?

Whether it's fabricated records blocking your care, a provider who won't listen, or a system that dismisses you until it's too late — patients are being failed every single day. These stories are coming out more and more because this is not rare. This is a pattern.

Sumbul's message to the doctors who dismissed her: "I could have been diagnosed 11 months earlier, and the entire time, the cancer was spreading. Do better."

We say the same.

If you or someone you love has been dismissed, denied care, or harmed by a system that wasn't listening — share this petition. Ensure others sign it. Send it to your representatives. The medical blacklisting we have been fighting to expose isn't just her story. It's everyone's story. It's your friend's story or your family's story. It may be yours.

People are being harmed. People are dying. And it needs to stop.
