Dear Supporters,
We have a rare and time-sensitive opportunity.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is asking the public — including patients — how to better catch healthcare fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. They specifically want to know how to stop bad providers from continuing to bill federal programs, how to improve fraud detection before payments go out, and what tools and data could help identify patterns of abuse.
This is directly relevant to everything this petition stands for. If you have been denied care, had your records misused, or experienced a provider who billed insurance while giving you nothing — CMS wants to hear about it. Your comment becomes part of the official federal record and can influence real regulations!
Here's how to submit:
- Go to https://www.regulations.gov/document/CMS-2026-0826-0001 (or go to regulations.gov and
search for docket CMS-2026-0826 or file code CMS-6098-NC) - Click "Comment" and share your experience
- Submit before March 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST
You do not need to be an expert. Plain language is welcome. Your experience is evidence.
Thank you for standing with this movement. Every signature and every comment moves us closer to accountability and change.
In solidarity and hope,
Amy
