Dear Supporters,
The federal government is finally back open, which means the agencies and lawmakers responsible for oversight can no longer claim they “aren’t available” to address what’s happening. They can see this petition now — and they can act.
Meanwhile, the situation for pain patients is becoming dire. People with documented medical conditions are being cut off from essential pain medication, then dismissed from care entirely. This is not “policy.” This is abandonment. And for some patients, this delay in action isn’t an inconvenience — it’s a countdown.
Medical blacklisting is costing people their mobility, their independence, and in some cases, their lives. The longer officials avoid this issue, the more patients will pay the price.
Now that the government is open again, there is no excuse for further inaction.
Here is what we need right now:
- Share this petition widely: https://www.change.org/End_Medical_Blacklisting
- Urge others to sign.
- Contact your representatives and demand acknowledgment of medical blacklisting and care denial, and demand ACTION.
This issue is not going away — and neither are we. The clock is ticking for too many patients to allow silence any longer.
In solidarity,
Amy McFalls
