We Just Hit 1,000 Signatures! Help Us Keep the Momentum Going!
Our petition to get Ireland to the World Baseball Classic just hit 1,000 signatures! We need a few minutes of your time to keep the momentum going - it's as easy as 1-2-3!
Here's how it works:
- ONE: Load the petition on your computer and ask someone to read and sign it. WHO TO ASK: It could be your spouse, partner, close relative, or a co-worker. Basically, someone who is nearby, likes baseball, and doesn't like quotas!
- TWO: Send a quick email to two people who are close to you. Send them the link to the petition and ask them to read and sign it. WHO TO ASK: Once again, think of two people who are close to you and are baseball fans. Remember, they don't have to be Irish! Anyone who loves baseball should understand the significance of getting Ireland to the World Baseball Classic!
- THREE: Tag three people on social media. Of course, you can tag more than three, but we find that tagging a few people is the best way to get their attention and to let them know that you're speaking directly to them, rather than spamming a bunch of your friends. WHO TO ASK: Baseball fans, friends who are Irish, or both!
That's it! It only takes a few minutes and it can have a MASSIVE impact! Here's some text you can use in your emails and social media posts:
I'm working to help Ireland get into the next World Baseball Classic! Take a look at this petition and support the cause! https://www.IRLWBC.com
Make no mistake: Quotas are the ONLY thing standing in the way of Ireland getting to the World Baseball Classic. Together, we can bring about a much needed change in policy that will have a great impact on Ireland and the game of baseball!
Remember:
- An Irish citizen is an Irish citizen, period.
- A successful Irish National Team is good for Ireland and the game of baseball.
- A strong Irish National Team will inspire kids to play baseball.
- If Ireland gets to the WBC, the funding from MLB will strengthen youth baseball programs in Ireland.
Thank you for your support and your efforts!
