Support the creation of a unified campus for St. Seton’s
The Issue
ONE SCHOOL, ONE COMMUNITY
One voice= whisper... but 500 voices is a ROAR!
St. Seton’s Secondary School, located in Ballyfermot, has been a cornerstone of education for our community. However, the current state of the school's infrastructure is severely hampering the potential of our students. Spread across multiple campuses, the school's fragmented environment impacts students' learning experiences, limits resources, and increases the operational challenges faced by the educators.
A unified campus is not just a desire—it's a necessity. Bringing all students under one roof would significantly improve the quality of education by streamlining resources and enhancing the learning environment. Presently, the separation of students across different locations dilutes the sense of community and teamwork among students and staff. It leads to inefficiencies, increased travel times, and difficulty in accessing shared resources like the library, sports facilities, and specialized classrooms.
Investing in a single, cohesive campus will ensure that St. Seton’s Secondary School can continue to provide a high-quality education and support the holistic development of each student. Research has shown that unified school campuses can improve academic outcomes, enhance social skills, and foster a stronger sense of belonging and community. This, in turn, boosts student morale and performance, leading to better educational and life outcomes.
The new unified campus would foster an inclusive environment where every student, regardless of background, has equal access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, ensuring they are not left behind in their educational journey. It would bolster Ballyfermot’s educational standards and help reflect the pride and potential of our vibrant community.
By signing this petition, you stand with us in urging the decision-makers to prioritise the establishment of a unified campus for St. Seton’s Secondary School. This investment is crucial for the future success of our students and the wider community. Let's come together to ensure every student in Ballyfermot has the opportunity to succeed and thrive. Every signature counts, and your support can help make this vision a reality. Please sign this petition to advocate for a sustainable and equitable educational environment for our children.
