The Airbnb guest who refused to leave a North Carolina home more than a month ago has been evicted.

The Durham County Sheriff's Office served the Airbnb guest an eviction notice Wednesday morning.

Considering the severity and complexity involved in evicting the unwelcome squatters, it is very necessary to have a Federal law to enable Sheriffs across the country to act without intervention of the civil courts.

The squatters can have a direct impact on you if you are a homeowner, rent paying tenant, landlord or a property management company.
