Here's what's happening.

 

The FDA is in the middle of a major leadership transition. Commissioner Makary stepped down on May 12, and an acting commissioner is now in place while a permanent replacement is identified. That means the agency's review of testosterone policy is unfolding during a period of real institutional change.

We are not slowing down. If anything, this moment demands more from all of us, not less.

 

The Testosterone Project is actively engaged on Capitol Hill, building relationships with the offices and committees that shape health policy. We are pushing for science-aligned regulation, for women to finally have FDA-approved testosterone options, and for every patient to be able to access care without outdated barriers standing in the way.
