Dear Valued Supporter,

We have a pressing update for you as a valued supporter of the eco-friendly Bulgari Resort Los Angeles project. The Los Angeles City Council has scheduled a hearing tomorrow, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 10 AM for Councilmember Katy Yaroslavsky’s motion to rescind the General Plan Amendment, halting the pending release of the Environmental Impact Report and the project itself!

This action could infringe on our due process rights after 6 years of cooperative due diligence with the city, disregarding our updated plans that take into account neighbor concerns, the latest science in fire safety, sustainable development, and wildlife protection.

Why does this matter to you? Circumventing our due process could set a dangerous precedent for all citizens and developments. This motion attempts to bypass the city's codified procedures, and if passed and acted upon, it would be highly illegal and set a dangerous precedent for anyone doing business with the city of Los Angeles. The public deserves to see the independent Environmental Impact Report, which will accurately inform the City Council based on project facts and merits. We need your help now more than ever!

Your presence tomorrow, whether in-person or via dial-in, is essential. However, by attending in person, you will have an even greater impact.
