I CHECKED WHAT ALBERTA OFFERS. THERE'S NOTHING FOR A GUY IN MY SPOT.**

An Alberta MLA's office replied to my letter and pointed me to the province's small business resources page. So I went through every program on it.

Futurpreneur is for entrepreneurs 18 to 39. I'm past that. Community Futures is for rural businesses. I'm in Calgary. The innovation grants are for research and development, and the manufacturing grant is for manufacturers. The training grant pays for employee training — I don't have employees right now. The farm lender is for farms.

That leaves the two loan programs, the Canada Small Business Financing Program and BDC. Both need a lender to say yes, and no lender will approve me with my credit destroyed.

So that's every door on the page. They're all for someone starting out, growing, or doing research. None of them is for an owner-operator who lost everything to a blown engine and is trying to get back on his feet.

That's exactly why this petition exists. I'm not asking for a handout. I'm asking for a repayable emergency bridge-loan program, a real support path, and honest tracking of how many carriers are failing this way.
