**26 signatures overnight — and the debate is exactly why this matters**

Thank you to everyone who's signed — we went from 10 to 22 in a single evening.

The Facebook comment threads are doing what I'd hoped: real truckers debating real questions. Should a blown engine end a viable business? I don't think so — that's why the petition's first demand is emergency bridge financing, not a bailout. And nobody in Ottawa even counts the operators lost to repossession without filing — that's why the third demand is transparent tracking. We can't fix what we don't count.

The three asks, plainly:

1. Emergency bridge financing for viable owner-operators hit by catastrophic equipment loss.

2. A real federal support and referral path for small carriers in distress.

3. Transparent tracking of repossession-driven failures.If you haven't, I'd be grateful for your name on it.
