At tonight’s Kern High School District board meeting Rev. Angelo Frazier spoke during public comments. He announced he will present the same proposal to the KHSD board, to include the Ten Commandments along with other historical documents in our public high schools, as he presented last year to the Kern County Board of Education.
This proposal was dropped by the Kern County Board of Education in November, after strong push back from the community, response from the ACLU of Southern California, and other groups. The law group backing Frazier’s proposal also pulled their offer to represent the Board in litigation that would surely follow were the board to accept Frazier’s unconstitutional proposal, politically and personally motivated by his own interpretations of history and theology.

Thank you for your interest in this important issue, support of keeping religion out of Kern County’s public schools and the focus on our children’s academic achievements!

More updates to follow.
