You can find the survey at... https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3YKRFYG ------------------------------ Please note the message I received below for details: "The Intellectual Developmental Disability and Behavioral Health (IDD-BH) department of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking stakeholder input {that is you} for developing potential exceptional items for persons with IDD and/or behavioral health disabilities for the 2020-2021 Legislative Session. A survey has been created to assess stakeholder prioritization of service gaps identified in the 2017-2021 Behavioral Health Strategic Plan and capture information that will assist in the development of exceptional item proposals. This survey will serve as one of several opportunities to provide input on potential exceptional items that the IDD-BH department will request funding from the Texas Legislature. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. We ask that you respond to the survey by Friday, December 15, 2017." -------------------------------------- You may be asking yourself "What is an exceptional item and what do they mean?" Those are two great questions and without getting overly technical, it means what the state and the IDD will prioritize for policy and potential funding! So...YOUR VOICE and input here MATTER!
