Important Update!

After all these years, & the past several months, it is now getting exciting! The United States Health & Human Services (HHS) is FINALLY reviewing the ISLET Act! As many of you know, it is about reclassifying donor islet cells from a "drug" to an "organ". They are now wanting to hear from YOU, the public, & from medical professionals about why the ISLET Act is critical for positive health reform. This is different from what many of you have done in writing to your senators & reps. This is a next step kind of thing, which brings us closer to our goal. Everyone has from now until Nov 9th ⏳️ to submit an email or letter explaining why reclassification of ISLET cells is vital for the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) community. (Instructions on where to send your letter & the rules to follow for it are below at the link. If needed, I'll add an example of a letter my friend Jason came up with in my next post that you can modify.) It would mean the world to me 💗 & all Type 1s across the U.S. if you will take the time to help make a difference! If you've been following along, you know why this is so crucial. Now is the most important time of all to speak up! I'm pleading for your help in sending in your letters & emails.
