Dear friends and neighbors,

Thank you so much for signing our petition! We hope you will join us on Wednesday, August 21, for an evening of advocacy in support of our efforts.

The Tiburon Town Council will meet that night to make critical decisions about the parks + recreation Master Plan, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall (1505 Tiburon Boulevard). Parents for Parks + Rec will be there to advocate for the needs of all kids, teens, and families, and the more people joining us, the more likely we are to have an impact on their decisions.

To add to the excitement, we’ll be meeting at Sam’s Anchor Cafe for an open-bar happy hour before the meeting, from 5:30 to 6:15pm. Please come join us and wear green to show your support for kids and families!

If you're unable to attend the Council meeting in person, there's a Zoom option to join and speak during the public comment period. If you would like a reminder to log in, please send your cell number to tiburonparents@gmail.com and we will text you as the meeting begins, and again as it approaches the public comment period.

If in-person or virtual attendance isn't possible, or in addition to your planned attendance, please send the Council an email to share your thoughts. Letters make a big difference! Emails to town@townoftiburon.org will be shared with all of the council members.
