Following discussions between the University of Lincoln and the Board of Brayford Broadcasting C.I.C. an agreement has been reached for the transfer of the fm licence, subject to OfCom approval, to Brayford Broadcasting C.I.C.  A new community radio station WITHAM RADIO has been launched as of 1st of July 2024.

A massive thank you to everyone who signed the petition and helped in the lobbying process.  

WITHAM RADIO’s target is now to raise the funds to enable us to get back on air, again subject to OfCom’s approval.  We have set up a crowd funding page and if you can spare a few pounds, we would be very grateful. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/witham-radio

WITHAM RADIO will ultimately broadcast on the frequency of 107.3MHz and will be online (www.withamradio.co.uk ).  First, we need the licence transfer to be agreed by OfCom and equipment (the transmitter and aerial) relocating from the University premises.
