All school-aged children and young people deserve the Best Start in Life. School nurses can make a real difference to children and young people’s health and wellbeing. But only if there are enough school nurses. 

in our survey, most school nurses told us that they enjoy their role however less than 1 in 5 school nurses report that there are enough staff to give the support that school-aged children and young people deserve.
