We need more signatures....please share our petition widely so that school nurses can effectively work with school aged children, young people and their families & communities to prevent ill health, promote health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. 

We know that there are rising needs amongst school-aged children. In our survey -The Forgotten Frontline: Public Health School Nursing. Unveiling the Realities of School & Public Health Nursing in the UK,  96% of school nurses stated that they have seen an increase in mental health issues school aged children and young people. With the right funding, the school nursing workforce are ideally placed to support school aged children and young people, help them improve their resilience and support them when they are having a difficult time.
