As a peer advocate for those in the mental health community, I usually don't talk about political stuff, but in this update, I feel I must do so. You may or may not be aware of the current situation with former President Donald J. Trump. He has ongoing investigations due to numerous criminal activities in his first term in office after the insurrection on January 6th, which was later reported that he was responsible for during his "rally" before the infamous incident took place on Capitol Hill. Since he lost the 2020 election, the man, in my opinion, has lost all sense of reality. Unfortunately, most members of his administration and many of his voters have gone crazy, as well. Members like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Ted Cruz, Ron Desantis, Herschel Walker, Mahmet Oz, and many others continue to push the conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was stolen, despite numerous investigations claiming that the election results were one hundred percent legit.

I think Trump, and other Conservatives, politicians and voters alike, are threatening our democracy and have some deep psychological issues and severe mental health problems. Having said that, they are also making it difficult for us in the mental health community and they are also keeping the stigma alive. I will still do my part to speak out against the stigma. I also need your help to get the message out by adding your signature, sharing the link to the petition, and asking members of your community to lend their signatures.
