Hi Everyone,
Wow! In just a little over a day, our petition is off to a wonderful start, and we are on our way to receiving 1,000 signatures. What we need to do next is 1) continue to share this petition as widely as possible. While our numbers are great so far, we want to ensure that we don't lose momentum in the coming days. If each of us who has already signed this petition can think of 3 new people to share it with, we can triple our numbers and become a more powerful presence that the administration will find difficult to ignore.
2) If you have already signed and shared our petition, please WRITE to all of the officials listed on our home page. Explain the impact Manhattan College Liberal Arts has had on you or your loved ones and voice how you oppose the elimination of tenured faculty. If you would like some guidance for what to say (or you want a more user-friendly list of addresses to contact), Rose Brennan '20 has graciously provided us with a form letter that includes the parties' emails in one copy-and-paste-able block which I am attaching below.
