Support Kasozi Ronald in taking care of helpless children
The Issue
My name is Kasozi Ronald, a 32-year-old from the remote village of Senya in Masaka District, Uganda. I was raised in a peasant family and later brought up in an orphanage in Rakai District. My life took a positive turn due to the life-changing support from Donna Campagna of Baltimore, Maryland, who sponsored me through the Children of Uganda organization. This generous sponsorship allowed me to complete my education, leading to a degree in Information Technology. I went on to manage a hardware store in Kampala, which became my primary source of income.
However, in 2020, tragedy struck when my elder brother succumbed to Covid-19, leaving me with his two children who needed care. These children became my responsibility, doubling my commitment and efforts to provide them a secure future. But my own life further unraveled in 2022 when a devastating fire claimed my hardware store, leaving me jobless and at a loss.
This unfortunate sequence of events has put me in a precarious position. I am currently struggling to afford basic necessities like food and education for the children and myself. With no stable income, I am desperate for help to rebuild our lives and ensure these innocent children do not have to relive the cycle of poverty and hardship.
I am reaching out to anyone who can offer support, be it financial or in-kind, to help us regain stability. Your contribution can make a profound difference, not only for me but for the future of my brother’s children. Please sign this petition, and help me appeal to NGOs, charitable organizations, and compassionate individuals to extend a helping hand. Together, we can rebuild what has been lost and provide these children with the opportunities they deserve. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your support. Please sign and share this petition widely to maximize our reach and impact.
