Thanks to more than 210,000 supporters, FIFA listened to me and my fellow activists in a meeting with secretary general Fatma Samoura on November 8.

This has led to their own FIFA human rights advisory panel recognizing that the stadium ban violates their own policy and have called on FIFA to give Iran a deadline for allowing women to watch soccer matches.
