On the morning of February 6, 2023, the bulldozing equipment began to remove trees on Snell Hill. This is occurring before the Native leaders and allies of Niskithe Prayer Camp can avail themselves to the appeals process.

Niskithe Prayer Camp leaders and allies are acting in peaceful and prayerful opposition to this destruction of trees and encroachment upon spiritual purification lodges and sacred lands.
