HACC faculty are on strike, Monday, November 3. After a flurry of last-minute activity, administration still refuses to offer a fair contract that acknowledges years of work without pay raises and the integral role faculty play in the educational environment.
What faculty are asking for is modest, reasonable, and fair. Much of what they demand is status quo.
Meanwhile, the college continues to spend public money delaying a fair faculty contract. To see how much public money is spent in an effort to punish faculty, and to see a side-by-side comparison of what the college is offering and what faculty are demanding, visit haccea.org.
Strength is a choice. Stand with HACC faculty and demand the college give faculty what they deserve and what has already been budgeted, so they can return to the classroom to help their students succeed.
