A5218 Voted Through Assembly Education Committee!

In an exciting and sooner-than expected update, the pre-K twin bill was posted to the Assembly Education Committee last week and passed unanimously, along with the supporting votes of all present stakeholder groups. This is a big deal, because now the bill has passed the first stage on both the Senate and Assembly side!

1. Senate Floor Vote: 10/22. E-mail senscutari@njleg.org to urge him to post bill S4349 for a vote at this session! 

2. Assembly Floor Vote: 11/16. E-mail asmcoughlin@njleg.org and asmgreenwald@njleg.org to urge them to post bill A5218 for a vote at this session!

Once the bill passes floor votes, it will go to the Governor to be signed into LAW! We are 50% of the way there!
