Lawyers for the Duggan family late yesterday commenced proceedings in the Federal Court to challenge the Attorney-General’s decision to surrender Aussie citizen and father of six Dan Duggan to United States authorities in Washington.  Now more than ever the family need your help.

Dan’s wife Saffrine’s property was frozen by the US in 2023, impoverishing the family and leaving it with little money to contest the allegations without community support.

Today Saffrine said the Government had failed to provide transparency about the case even though it had devastating implications for an Australian family.

“Dan is exercising his rights as an Australian citizen to due process under Australian law. We are an Australian family, and we deserve a fair go.”
