In a clear breach of United Nations rules, Dan currently resides in a 2x2m dormitory pod, in a room with 26 convicted inmates. He is an Australian citizen caught in a legal nightmare, with no local charges, no criminal record and no history of violence. The unsubstantiated and politically-charged allegations against him by the United States are about events that took place over 12 years ago and were not a crime in Australia.  

Please also remind the Australian government and in particular, the Attorney-General, that politicians are in Canberra to represent the interests of the Australian people by encouraging them to fight for the Duggan family.
